Little Dish no. 6

Ceramic dish made from my custom mid-range clay bodies formulated in the studio. These little dishes are handmade using a combination of slab-work and throwing.

The surface design comes from carved line detail or glazed patterns. All of the design details from the tile works and incorporated in these little dishes.

Dish Size: 4" x 4" x 1" 

Surface: Unglazed, coarse surface in Speckled Sand clay with matte black glaze line work. I left the surfaces partially unglazed to celebrate the natural beauty of the clay! Not recommended for food.

*Every piece in the collection is made by hand and in small batches. No two dishes will have the exact same linework, but every dish will have a single black line similar to the one pictured. Slight variations in size, shape and color are inherent to the handmade process.
